Yvonne Nelson beats Nadia Buari, Lydia Forson, Joselyn Dumas, Martha Ankomah to win Best Actress at 2015 Ghana Movie Awards

Long-legged actress Yvonne Nelson cum producer is ending 2015 on a good note. Her movie “If Tomorrow Never Comes” won 3 (three) awards at the awards.

She was adjudged as the Best Actress at the 6th edition of the Ghana Movie Awards which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on December 30, 2015.

Yvonne Nelson beat Nadia Buari from “Imogen Brown”, Lydia Forson from “A Letter From Adam”, Martha Ankomah from “Shattered Lives” and Joselyn Dumas from “Silver Rain” to win the biggest award in the female category.

From the same movie, Ghanaian singer Rebecca Acheampong popularly known as Becca won the Actress In A Supporting Role award ahead of Selorm Galley from “The Table”, Ama K. Abebrese from “The Cursed Ones”, Christabel Ekeh from “Candle In The Wild” and Belinda Baidoo from the movie “Silver Rain”.

Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon was adjudged the Best Actor African Collaboration in the movie produced by Yvonne Nelson for YN Productions.

If Tomorrow Never Comes tells the story of a young girl, Ewurabena, from a little village who is forced to journey to her destiny.

The movie directed by Pascal Amanfo featured great actors and actresses including Bismark Nii-Odoi, David Dontoh, Yvonne Nelson, Khareema Aguiar with Ghanaian singer Becca and Ayittey Powers the boxer.
