Now it is confirmed! Dancehall act Shatta Wale will not perform at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Shatta Wale posted on his Facebook wall the reason why his fans will not see him perform on the night.
According to him, the organisers of the awards, Charterhouse refused to pay his asking fee of 70,000GHC (US$24800), adding that “But they will pay huge sums of dollars to other artiste from other countries to come and perform. but for us (gh artiste), they will say the money is too much for them to pay..”
