Television Presenter and one of the newest actors in the scene, Leo Mensah also known as Ntoatoahene has declared his support for the opposition New Patrotic Party (NPP) and its flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for December 2016 elections.
The young actor released new photos himself with emblems of the NPP to confirm his support for the opposition party. He told NewsOne why he is endorsing the NPP.
“I am a Ghanaian… I love Ghana and if I see things aren’t going right I have to add my voice to see it done right. We have seen President Mahama or NDC administration since 2008 and I can confidently say they performed abysmally. So, I decided to go with what my people are saying,” he said.
According to him, his endorsement is not influenced by money.
“Not at all, I am satisfying my conscience. Many a time, we focus too much on money that we lose what makes as human beings. My people are suffering. You want me to wait till I get some financial gains before I speak up? Boss,” he added.
Leo is TV presenter on GHone TV and has featured in a number of Ghanaian movies, including ‘Hotel Babylon’, ‘Heroes’,’ Helmet’ by Slim Buster, ‘Naked Faces’ and ‘Love & Facebook. He’s being around for some time and recognised as one of the figures celebrated on Ghanaian screens.
