Some African stars have recorded a song, ‘Tell Everybody’ to add their voice to calls for African leaders to help end poverty and inequality on the continent.
The song, written, recorded, produced and released by Africans for the world, attempts to ignite the political passions of young people to hold their leaders accountable.
With verses in English, French, Swahili, Pidgin and Zulu, ‘Tell Everybody’ features Becca and Sarkodie (Ghana), Diamond (Tanzania), Mafikizolo (South Africa), Yemi Alade (Nigeria) and Toofan (Togo) and Sauti Sol (Kenya).
The historic signing of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development by 193 world leaders will take place on September 25 at the United Nations in New York.
