The final event of this year’s edition of the Miss Malaika beauty pageant will be held on Saturday, November 1 at the National Theatre in Accra and the aspiring queens are upbeat about their prospects.

Ahead of the event, the 10 finalists spent a fun afternoon Wednesday October 29 interacting with Starr Drive with host Bola Ray on Starr 103.5FM.

The ladies promised patrons an exciting evening filled with “lots of fun and surprises.”

They also seized control of the airwaves and decided which songs should be played on Ghana’s favorite late afternoon show.


Competing for the final crown are Cynthia Osei, 19-year-old student of the Ghana Technology University, Akua Akuffo, 21-year- old second year student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Stephanie Poku Agyeman, a final year Economics student of Central University, Anita Osei, 21-year-old Law student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Others include Eirene Nsudoon Binabibi, a student of the University of Ghana, Legon and Ann Kathleen Annan, a 19-year-old student of the University of Ghana, Legon, Ivy Baffuor-Gyan, 21, a level 400 student of the University of Ghana, Legon studying Finance, Wilhelmina Buadie Kwofie, 20-year-old student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) and Joyce Mamle Ayeh, 19.2014 Miss Malaika contestants dance with Bola Ray 2014 Miss Malaika contestants dance with Bola RaySource: StarrFMonline.com
