Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as Kwame A-Plus has taken a swipe at actress Lydia Forson over comments she made that, the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is intolerant and likely to lose the December 7 polls.
In a long article posted on her website titled “Lessons from America’s presidential race; why the main opposition (NPP) may lose in the upcoming elections”, the award winning actress likened the upcoming Ghana elections to the US elections where the most favoured candidate Hillary Clinton lost out to Donald Trump, who many ganged up against prior to the polls.
Portion of the article read … “Against all pollsters, opinions polls and predictions, Donald Trump defied all odds and shocked Americans and the world at large. If this doesn’t tell you the electorate isn’t as predictable and neither are the elections, then I don’t know what will.”
“Which is what many members of the opposition seem to be missing and why they may also be in for a shock. They’re banking on the general perception that people are frustrated with the ruling party, and because of this want change, hence their campaign message.”
In a video posted on his Facebook page, A-Plus called out Lydia Forson labeling her as “a fake person who can write good English.” According to him the actress must be bold and tell her followers which of the political divide she belongs to and stop playing the neutral cards.
