VIDEO: Kojo Antwi inaugurated as GHAMRO Chairman

Highlife maestro Kojo Antwi has been inaugurated as Chairman of Ghana Music Rights Organisations (GHAMRO).

He promised to live up to the expectation. He said his team will be firm, decisive, truthful and work hard in the interest of all music right organisers, in order to avoid the mistakes of the past.

According to him, the new GHAMRO team will engage technical experts to run the society with their supervision.

“I believe in action than too much talk that is why I never spoke for or against GHAMRO when it had its issues in the media. Once the people have hope in me and have made me the new chairman, I promise to not let them down but do what is necessary in the interest of musicians”, he said.

The inauguration was attended by Ministry of Justice & Attorney General Marrieta Brew Appiah Opong, MUSIGA President, Obour musicians, producers and other stakeholders in the entertainment industry.

The former members of the Interrim Board Nana Aboagye Da-Costa, Kwame Nsiah Apau popularly known as Okyeame Kwame, Dorothy Habadah, a State Attorney and representative of the Copyright Office and Kow Sessah Acquaye, a State Attorney and representative of the Attorney General were also present.
