The 2015 Ghana Social Media Rankings has been an astonishing collaborated and accomplished work by Avance Media and CliQAfrica across 20 categories to unveil and honour Ghanaians and Ghanaian Brands who have been committed to being boundless positive ambassadors of Ghana on Social Media.
In a pursuit in finding who becomes the most influential Ghanaian on the most used Platforms; these personalities and more were monitored on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram throughout 2015 taking into respect their active Engagements, Post Reach and Mentions.
After emerging the Most Influential Movie Personality, Yvonne Nelson; Producer, Actress and Energy Activist has earned for herself the accolade, the Ghana Social Media Rankings 2015 Most Influential Ghanaian on Social Media.
Significant among her achievements included the #DumsorMustStop demonstration which brought to light the true power of Social Media when she called out thousands onto the street for the largest night vigil to send out Ghanaians displeasure of the persistent Energy Crisis to Government. Her act equally caught the attention of Global Media houses demonstrating her dominance and influence in Ghana.
Other momentous personalities on the List include; Sarkodie, Kofi Annan, Stonebwoy, John Mahama and Nana Akuffo Addo.

Analysis with the 2014 Ghana Social Media Rankings reveal Yvonne Nelson displaced John Dumelo to pick the top spot.
Other potential 2016 entrants include; Efya, Yvonne Okoro, Samini, Anas Aremeyaw Anas and Joselyn Dumas.
NB: Final Data used for all Rankings were recorded on the 28th of December, 2015 and Figures (GSMR Score) on the attached chart are calculations from Social Media followings, Engagements, Post Reaches and Mentions.
Through Observations and Feedbacks on our rankings for 2014, we came up with the GSMR score, with a formula derived from various followings on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube with data on Engagements, Posts Reach and Mentions.
As Ghanaians head towards the polls in 2016 to cast their votes, we have assessed the important role Social Media would play in various political activities and would like to use this platform to appeal to all Ghanaians to desist from using their social media platforms to channel unwarranted contents that potentially can lead this nation into any uproar.
