Tigo Transforms Tagline To “Live It, Love It”

Tigo is one telecommunication brand in Ghana that focuses on consistently meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations and developing an inspirational brand.

On March4, 2016, Tigo Ghana launched their new tagline; “Live It, Love It” for a better digital experience of limitless possibilities to their customers and stakeholders at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

“Tonight, we are here to celebrate how our brand, Tigo, has kept pace with all these changes over the past 24 years, since we launched as Mobitel in 1992 with a little over 27,000 subscribers”, the C.E.O of Tigo Ghana, Roshi Motman said.

Madam Mortman continued that, “From Express Yourself to Smile you’ve got Tigo, a lot has taken place in our business. Since I joined Tigo in April 2014, the company has been on a remarkable transformational journey to become the brand of choice for digital users in Ghana.”

In review to the growth of Tigo Ghana, the Deputy Minister of Communications, Mr. Ato Sarpong said “I think we must commend [the] C.E.O and the management for keeping the flag of Tigo so high”.Tigo “Live It, Love It” launch (1)

The launch also had Tigo unveiling their new ad commercial which broadcast and ridicules MVA spokesperson against Tigo spokesperson in a rally battle to reveal their digital services. The response at the auditorium was impressive and it’s one ad that would be appreciated by telecom consumers.

Patrons at the event also had the chance to tour the Experience Centre and tried out the Samsung S7 Virtual reality Gear.

The new tagline according to the CEO is not just an advertising slogan, “it’s a new approach and a new direction for us. The tagline reflects our ambition to improve internet penetration in the country, and to make the internet, and all the amazing features it comes with, a way of life for Ghanaians.”

Present at the launch was the captain and host of the event, Jerry Adjorlolo, Deputy Minister of Communications, Mr. Ato Sarpong, C.E.O of Tigo Ghana, Roshi Motman, Director of Marketing, Mr. Jesse Agyepong, Director of Mobile, Mr. Tara Squire among other managerial heads from Tigo Ghana.
