Tigo Unveils Big Six Promo “Wo suro aa wondi” | GHC 1.2m Up For Grabs

After the introduction of promotions such as “Drop That Yam” and “Yensor Nkoaa” over the years to reward loyal customers, telecom giant, Tigo Ghana has unveiled another campaign using the Big Six to reward loyal customers with hundreds of prizes including airtime and multiple cash prizes of GHC 100,000.

The new promo dubbed “Wo suro aa wondi”, meaning “You cannot win if you are afraid” is a 90 day promotional giveaway to engage customers using the images of the Ghana’s famous Big Six and win multiples of GHS100,000.

Head of Marketing at Tigo Ghana, Jesse Agyepong at the launch of the promo at Tigo head office in Accra said that, the rewards for the promo are in two folds.

“We have two silver panels at the back of every recharge card. The first one reveals an instant gift which can be redeemed from any Tigo shop nationwide and also reveals the images of the Big Six in Ghana’s political history,” he said.

He also added that, “Customers have to collect all six images to win our bingo prizes of GHC 100,000. The second panel is the recharge code for the top up.”

He also told the journalist that, there are also “instant prizes which include umbrellas, selfie sticks, other Tigo souvenirs, air time and cash prizes of up to GHS5,000.”

He explained that using the images of the Big Six for the ultimate prizes, the Bingo was part of efforts by Tigo to celebrate our political forefathers for their contribution to Ghana’s rich political history.

Director of Mobile at Tigo Ghana, Tara Squire said there is a lot of money in the campaign and therefore advising their customers to be bold and take part and win big.

“This is a promotion that talks about being bold, so we are advising our customers to be bold, keep buying our vouchers, keep scratching and keep winning. You can also top up via the Tigo cash and still win amazing prizes.”

Tara Squire added that, this promotion is very transparent and the company “we are using the airtime, so what you see when you scratch is what you get. Nothing else. There is no draw behind the scene. Nothing. What you see on the scratch card is what you get.”

Customers who buy airtime with Tigo cash are exempted from the Bingo. They can however win the amazing prizes.
