The Official 2013 African Entertainment Awards Nominees List to be broadcast on G98.7 FM Radio Station on Sunday July 28

 

The official nominees announcement will be broadcast live on G98.7FM radio’s African Groove Show, on Sunday July 28, 2013 at 12:00pm.

Members of the nominees panel and the founder of the African Entertainment Awards, will make the nominees announcement during the African Groove Show.

Official public voting for each category begins on the same date as the announcement; Sunday July 28 through August 28, 2013.

The public can vote for nominees on the awards show website: www.aeawards.ca

Process of Selecting Winner of Each Category:

Each member of the Voting (judges) Panel will receive a copy of public votes to study it and give his/her input as well as agreement and personal vote for each category. Thus, the nominee with the most votes from both the public and the Voting Panel, which consists of 80% of the public votes and 20% of the judges in a given award category, will be the winner of that award.

The Voting Panel members are impartial and select winners solely based on quality and consistency of the product for which the award will be won. Hence, their views are not biased, neither influenced by personal affiliation and preference of any sort. The acceptance of gifts and incentives is strictly prohibited. Members are urged to vote in a manner that preserves the integrity and professionalism of the awards.

Official winners are to be announced during the evening of the African Entertainment Awards show. Winners are presented with the prestigious A.E. AWARDS 18 karat golden statute as recognition of their contribution within the African entertainment
