Singer Wiyaala is leaving no stone unturned as she breaks into the movie industry with a debut role in “No Man’s Land”.
The producers of the movie have released an image of the singer in the movie directed by award winning and celebrated director, Pascal Amanfo and schedules to premiere on Saturday February 13, 2016 at the Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall and Westhills Mall at 6pm and 9pm respectively.
“No Man’s Land” which is actress Salma Mumin’s debut movie as a producer features actors drawn from Ghana and Nigeria including Wiyaala, Adjetey Annan, Salma Mumin, Nikki Samonas, Doris Sackitey, Television/radio personality Kofi Okyere Darko (K.O.D), Nollywood’s Deyemi Okanlawon among others.
“No Man’s Land was created to identify with the hard looking Africa’s scene that exudes the real value of Africans’ strength and natural beauty.”
“We are producing a movie that is different from others, and for it to be recognized as a different movie, we created an invention, such as costumes and location, in our way to showcase a real picture of Africa. Our invention is reflected in the creation of No Man’s Land”.
“We created this movie to change the perception of what it takes to produce good storyline. Reflection of this purpose is indicated in our choice of using characters that fit into every role in No Man’s Land movie,” she told Ghanaweb.
The movie was produced by Salma Mumin for Salma Mumin Production.
