National Director of the music genres Hiplife and Hip Hop at the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Hammer of the Last Two has condemned budding Hiplife act and Ekiki Me hitmaker, Wisa for showing his manhood on stage whiles performing at Citi FM’s December 2 Remember Concert.
To wrap up a performance described by many as shambolic on Christmas Eve, December 24, Wisa stripped whiles dancing behind a voluptuous female dancer.
He has been trending on social media since the incidence. He has not however come forward to apologise for his shameful act.
However, Hammer who represents the interest of Hiplife and HipHop musicians in the country has in an official releases described the incidence as shameful and condemned it.
According to Hammer, the Union will institute a disciplinary action against him.
“This statement is being released to express the extreme disappointment in the artist Wisa, who disgraced this entire organization and the Ghanaian Music industry with his indecent exposure at the ‘December To Remember’ concert last night.”
“We would like to assure the general public in no uncertain terms that we clearly condemn the terrible actions of [the] said artist, and will within a week institute disciplinary proceedings against him by the executive committee of MUSIGA. We would also like to apologize on behalf of the entire organization for the oversight on our part,” the statement read.
