R2Bees, VIP, Sarkodie, Kaakie, 4X4 and AKA thrill guests at O News Live in Ghana recording

Guests at the recording of Pan – African music station, Channel O’s O News Live recording on Sunday August 12th 2013 were treated to amazing performances by selected Ghanaian musicians and South African hip hop star, AKA.

Ghanaian artistes including Kaakie, 4×4, Sarkodie, R2BEES and South African award winning musician AKA, who was performing in Ghana for the first time got the crowd dancing throughout as they performed back to back their hit songs.

Powered by telecommunications company, Vodafone and supported by YFM and iFactory, the event which was held at the Silver Star South Terrace was attended by several showbiz personalities, members of the media and music lovers. Celebrity guests included Joselyn Dumas, Yvone Okoro, John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson, Juliet Ibrahim, Selorm Galley (of Big Brother The Chase fame), Praye, D-Black, Eazzy, Manifest, Lydia Forson, Joey B and Nigerian musician Davido.

The event started with a VIP cocktail after which Channel O’s Bassment DJ Xclusive and YFM’s DJ Vision set the tone for the night’s performances playing a variety of songs ranging from Azonto, Hip Hop, Afro Pop to Funky House songs.

The show was hosted and presented by Ghana’s Channel O VJ J-Town alongside VJs Flavia from Uganda and Nigeria’s Denrele who interviewed Ghanaian movie stars Yvonne Okoro, Joselyn Dumas and John Dumelo and Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Ghana, Uche Ofodile on stage during performance breaks.

Recorded in Ghana for the first time, O News Live is a celebrity entertainment show which brings viewers the latest in local and international celebrity news plus performances from homegrown and international artistes.
