On Wednesday, February 3, 2016, the inmates of the Senior Correctional Centre in Accra welcomed to its facility a team lead by Prophet Daniel Amoateng as part of activities to mark his birthday celebrations.
Prophet Daniel Amoateng and his team toured the correction centre that was set up for people who are under 18 year old and have been convicted of criminal or civil offenses.
The idea was to get first-hand information about the activities of the centre. He interacted with the inmates as they share their experiences so far in the centre. Some of them took turns to narrate the various offenses they committed to be brought to the centre.
After the experience of touring the facility, then came the donation and sharing of the things brought. Prophet Daniel Amoateng said he had travelled to Ghana specifically for this project as he celebrates his birthday. He also mentioned that, he has previously celebrated his birthday in other parts of the world.
The donations were done in two parts; first, an unspecified amount of money was donated to the facility and this was received by the Chairman of the Prisons Service Council, Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam.
The officials of the Centre received the second donation which includes five bags of rice, 10 packets of water, two boxes of oil, Three boxes of canned fish, three packs of toilet rolls, two boxes of detergents, four boxes of canned drink.
Prophet Daniel Amoateng and his team were assisted by some of known movie personalities including actress Emelia Brobbey, actor Timothy Bentum and movie director Pascal Amanfo.

As a motivational speaker, he gives counsel and advice to several government and political figures and has audiences with the Presidents of Sierra Leone and South Sudan. Currently, Daniel Amoateng is the first and youngest Ghanaian to have audience with the President of Sierra Leone.

In 2015, Daniel Amoateng who doubles as the President of Daniel Amoateng Foundation (DANAF) was awarded the 2015, Ghana UK –based Achievers’ Award (GUBA) humanitarian award in London.
His foundation, the Daniel Amoateng Foundation through which his philanthropic activities are carried out across the world projected to win the 2015 GUBA Humanitarian award. The award was to recognize and celebrate the humanitarian activities he has carried out in various countries.
According to Daniel Amoateng, his decision to carry out humanitarian activities is to encourage Ghanaians and for that matter Africans to cultivate the habit of supporting their own in times of crisis. This, he demonstrated when he took a great stand by travelling to Sierra Leone to help support the orphans of the Ebola outbreak and gave out scholarships to some school children. Last year, he was in Liberia to help as well. Daniel Amoateng who self-finances his philanthropic activities hopes to extend to the various African countries. He also intends to visit Sudan to extend his humanitarian activities to the less privilege and orphans there. Daniel Amoateng’s humanitarian activities have granted him audience with several heads of state and have also earned him a honorary citizen of Sierra Leone. His humanitarian activities have spanned on for two years and there is still more he hopes to achieve.
Daniel Amoateng is the author of about 7 bestselling books. These include ‘Exposing Dream Killers’, ‘why was I born’, ‘500 Wise Words and Life Lessons’ and ‘Dreams and their interpretations’. Daniel Amoateng has been featured on Joy News TV to speak on humanitarianism as part of the world humanitarian day which fell on August 20.
In December 2015, Daniel Amoateng who doubles up as an entrepreneur, honoured his intention of paying for the school fees of five- deprived children who are unable to attend school due to lack of financial support.
These five deprived children had suffered abuse in one way or the other which has positioned them in a difficult situation. The philanthropist who is also the President of the Daniel Amoateng Foundation was moved to support these children after an appeal.
He recently ministered to Juanita Bynum, Mike Murdock, Bishop Eddie Long, the Rev Al Sharpton, the civil rights activists in the United States of America. His Daniel Amoateng Foundation helps many from Ghana and other African countries. On Christmas day, Daniel Amoateng, joined hands with Joselyn Dumas Foundation to put a smile on the faces of 10 widows in the Eastern Region.
The support which was in cash and kind was to put a smile on the faces of the widows during the yelutide season. The 10 beneficiaries were drawn from two adjoining towns in the Eastern Region; Adukrom and Okyerekrom.
Two of the widows who were incapacitated with partial stroke cried their hearts out and expressed gratitude to Pastor Amoateng, Joselyn Dumas and the two foundations.
The ten widows who could not hide their joy due to the kind gesture also blessed Daniel Amoateng individually; prophesying greatness into his ministry.
