Welcome to your regular dose of ‘A PIECE OF PEACE’! I believe we are all born to be great in our own way, and life is a journey laced with a series of lessons to enable you to unlock your inner greatness! So stayed tuned for a personal insight on tips, information and advice aimed to inspire and motivate that I am discovering as I embark on my journey to unlocking my inner greatness. I hope it helps you as it is helping me!

Today I would like to share on the topic: FAILING YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS

I am sure we can all relate to a situation in our lives where we have worked tirelessly and dedicated everything and sometimes we get a very negative result. As a student I remember those long hours of studying that still resulted in a fail. How about that job interview which you gave everything and still did not get the position?

The question is, how do you deal with a situation where you did all you could possibly do but still the success you so badly wanted or needed eluded you? The simple answer is you keep trying, you keep pushing and you keep giving it your all.

Do you remember that guy who gave up? Nope, neither do I! The only people who make an impact are those people who did not let their negative results influence the level of hard work they put in. Remember, failures are sign posts on the road to achievement, so the journey to success depends on your ability to move from one failure to the other with the same level of enthusiasm.

It is only through hard work and determination and consistency that we move on to better things.God sometimes allows us to be in less than desirable situations to test our resolve; how ready are you for your promotion in life? The only way you can achieve your  promotion in life is by passing the test that is in front of you and sometimes that test is failure. We are like children in school who must pass tests in order to be promoted to the next grade. Are you passing your tests- refusing to murmur complain or blame when things are not going your way? Are you praising God in your darkest days as well as on your best days?

If you are in a difficult or trying situation right now remember you will get there when you are meant to get there and not a moment sooner, so relax breathe and be patient with a smile. The only meaning of that failure or disappointment is that it’s in your past. So make the decision; are you going to live in your past or learn from it? Every time I failed or had a negative outcome I found I was being delayed or redirected to something better.

Difficulty builds character, success is not handed out on a plate, you have to go out and get it yourself. So even in the middle of difficulty realise how blessed you are and keep going with a smile!

Be yourself, everyone else is taken!
