PHOTOS: Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings And Peace Hyde Launch New Technology Initiative For 31 December Women Movement Early Development School

Former First Lady and President of the 31st December Women’s Movement (DWM), Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings and TV Personality and Education Specialist, Peace Hyde recently attended the graduation ceremony at the 31st December Women’s Movement early development school in Teshie Nungua.

The event marked the culmination of 23 years of preschool education set up by the DWM organization as part of their initiative to mobilize women particularly the disadvantaged and vulnerable women in both rural and urban areas.

Peace Hyde who runs the successful education consultancy Aim Higher Consulting, which specializes in creating great innovative education products to help bridge the gap between information technology and learning with the goal of achieving excellence in education and skills for learners of all ages by incorporating IT in the learning experience, gave a heartfelt speech at the event encouraging parents to invest in the future of the school. The former education specialist and senior management executive will be working closely with the cluster of about 1,200 31st December women’s movement schools across Ghana to help them introduce new learning solutions for both teachers and pupils.

Speaking at the event, the head mistress Mrs. Agnes Marteye, expressed her gratitude for the help and support given to her school. She highlighted that students faced challenges with reading and pronunciation of words. The use of interactive learning tools has helped the children to visualize, listen and imitate words helping them to improve their literacy. Mrs. Rawlings also encouraged the school for their continued hard work in educating the community.

The CEO of Aim Higher consultancy, Peace Hyde also pledged the support of her organization to introduce solutions that will raise the standard of education being received. Aim Higher consulting has already provided learning solutions to schools across Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria over the past 3 years improving the delivery of teaching methods.
