PHOTOS: Akorfa Ejeani-Asiedu, Master Richard, Pascal Amanfo, Fred Nuamah, others at “When Love Comes Around” premiere

Over the weekend, beautiful Ghanaian actress turned producer, Zynnell Lydia Zuh joined the likes of Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Nadia Buari and Lydia Forson and other actresses who have produced their own movies when she premiered her first movie “When Love Comes Around” at the Silverbird Cinemas, Accra.

Premiere

The Accra premiere was attended by the cast and crew of the movie as well as some Ghanaian celebrities who were just present to support Zynnel Zuh’s first time effort as a producer and a co-writer.

They included Eddie Nartey, Kobi Rana, Master Richard, Akorfa Ejeani-Asiedu, Eddie Nartey, Helen Asante, Diamond, Pascal Amanfo, Fred Nuamah, Kobi Rana, Ama K. Abebrese, Edward Kufuor, Shirley Frimpong Manso among others.

Synopsis

The new movie tells the story of Love, played by Zynnell Lydia Zuh. After an early heartbreak, Love grows up not believing in true love. Money and social status have become her criteria for the search for her dream man. But just when she finds her dream man, true love comes knocking.

Cast

The movie features both Ghanaian and pan-African cast including Jim Iyke, Zynnell Zuh, Mikki Osei Berko, Edward Kufuor, Eku Edewor, DJ Pierra Makena and a host of others.

Nomination

Even before its premiere, When Love Comes Around picked seven nominations at this year’s Ghana Movie Awards including Best Picture, Best Cinematography and Best Script.

The movie also picked two nominations in the categories; Best Script and Best Overall Film of 2014 for Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCAs).

When Love Comes Around was directed by Afe Olumowe who penned hits like Chelsea and directed the critically acclaimed thriller The Voice.
