The President of MUSIGA Bice Osei Kuffour is calling on international musicians and event organizers to patronize the Ghana Music Week (GMW) Festival which is and annual event.
The MUSIGA President also known as Obour was speaking at the just ended international music exposition dubbed Midem.
Midem is the acronym for Marché International du Disque et de l’Edition Musicale, which is organised annually in and around the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France.
In his presentation, the MUSIGA President recounted the genesis of GMW and shared some of the highlights of the festival over its four year journey. He also showcased some of the leading artistes in the country and described the festival as a window to Ghanaian culture and a good reason for tourists to visit the country.
The MUSIGA President led a high powered delegation which included the C.E.O of Scratch Studios Kofi Amoakohene, the Associate Director of Scratch Studios, Paa Kwesi Holdbrook Smith, the 1st Vice President of MUSIGA Bessa Simons and Hitzmaker winner Koo Ntakra who performed at the Maiden Artiste Accelerator on the Opening Night of the Fair.
