According to TSEATAA, “KANE” is unique, in that, all the 8 tracks on the album possess one central theme which is to bring light to the darkness of everyone.
The album will inspire hope and give encouragement to those who may have lost hope.
In keeping with his style over the years, the album will serve a variety of genres and sounds across the 8 tracks to cater for all music tastes.
This would not be the first time; he would be releasing an album that is versatile in sounds and genres.
Over the years, his unconventional style of gospel, in which he presents an eclectic mix of heavy “gome” rhythms and versatile vocal expression enhanced by a hip and youthful energy has won him a massive following amongst the young and old and garnered his previous albums to achieve great success.
As a pacesetter and a trailblazer he introduced gospel music to a new era of authentic genre of music in 1997 that brought him into the limelight. His firm belief in the African identity deeply runs through his music and separates him from several musicians in his generation.
In recognition of his immense contribution to the gospel industry in Ghana, TSEATAA has won several awards and nominations including “the gospel artiste for the year 2005/2006”, Ghana Music Awards, “the gospel artiste 2007” MTN CEVAL gospel awards.
At the 2008/2009 Ghana Music Awards Josh Laryea’s 7TH album ‘Emere’ won the “record of the year for both Gospel and Secular music.
He has also managed to bring the same youthful energy and passion to bare on his stage performances; and he has consistently wooed audiences on various musical stages.
He has performed on both national and international platforms, with Donnie McClurkin, Israel Houghton, Don Moen, Alvin Slaughter, Bishop Noel Jones and other great musicians.
During the 2010 World Cup Josh performed alongside top African artistes in South Africa. He was a special guest of Don Moen at the biggest gospel concert in the world “Experience” in December 2010 in Lagos, Nigeria featuring twenty of the world’s best Gospel artistes locally and internationally with six hundred thousand audiences.
