Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party has officially been declared president-elect of the Republic of Ghana by the Electoral Commission.
Incumbent President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress had 4,713,277 votes or 44.40%, with Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom of the Progressive People’s Party getting 105,682 votes or 1%.

Nana Addo : 5,716,026 – (53.85%)
John Mahama : 4,713,277 – (44.40%)
Papa Kwesi Nduom : 105,682 – (1%)
Ivor Greenstreet : 25,395 – (0.24)
Edward Mahama : 22,214 – (0.21%)
Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings : 16,878 – (0.16%)
Jacob Osei Yeboah : 15,889 – (0.15%)
According to the EC, the four constituencies whose results were not included in the declared results are:
Afram Plains North with a voter population of 40,312 (because they only voted yesterday (Thursday) and therefore the results not ready
Upper West Akyem with a voter population of 50,386
Sawla-Tuna-Kalba with a voter population of 45,625 and
Tamale Central with a voter population of 83,947
The results for Upper West Akyem, Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, and Tamale Central are not included because the results are being contested, according to the Electoral Commission.
