Once again budding actress Nana Akua Addo has grabbed a nomination in the 2014 edition of the African Film Festival and Academy Awards (ZAFAA).

She got the nomination in the Best Upcoming Performer category alongside Lynda Ejiofor (Meeting), Nigeria, Jude Chukwuma Odoh (Had I Known), Ghana and Calista Okoronkwo (Career Woman), Nigeria with her HIV-themed movie; Nkuli The Masked.

The movie also earned actress and singer, Paulina Oduro a nomination in the Best Supporting Actor (Female) category. Other nominees included Bhaira Mcwizu (Conversation At Dinner), Nigeria, Oge Okoye (Turning Point), U.S.A and Lizzy Gold Onuwaje (Mothers Heart), Nigeria.

“I’m excited for my nominations and I hope I win”, she told GhanaGist.Com continuing that, “I plead with my fans to vote massively for me to come on top”.
