Music Video: Dada Hafco releases ‘Hini Me’ Video

Terry Asare Boamah, popularly known as DADA HAFCO in the music fraternity has released the video to his hit single “Hini Me”. This is Dada Hafco’s second video since he went solo from the now defunct group Mframa in 2012.

The “Mayentena” and “Mensesa” hit maker said in an interview that he wants to churn out only good and matured music. Music that has relevance on society and would Educate, Entertain and Inform his fans and music lovers all over the world. When asked about the new song “Hini Me”, Dada Hafco said that he wrote this record to be an apology letter for all men in Ghana and the world.

“Hini Mi” which literally means “Open the Door” is a Hi-Life masterpiece. The main theme of the song is an Apology to a woman from a man who left home and wants to come back home. The song is a mid-tempo hi-life tune that starts with a live saxophone and keyboard intro and a summary of the whole song and then breaks into full instrumentation and introduces the chorus of the song.

Dada Hafco sings his first verse about the wrongs he has done the woman and apologies for his mistakes and it is then followed up with the “Hini Me” chorus. A hook is introduced and directly followed by a classic Saxophone solo which then introduces Dada Hafco’s second verse. Dada Hafco, proves his lyrical and melodic dexterity by the witty, punchy, apologetic style of joggling his words to create a verse where he talks about what will happen if the woman refuses his apology. The song is brought to a close with the “Hini Me” chorus till fade.

This beautiful masterpiece was product by DDT with his slogan “Sweet Poison” proudly represented in the song.

The video depicts the true emotion behind the music and what a man is willing to gothrough to get the love of his life and family back together. This video was shot in Ghana by Emklan Productions and directed by Quophi Okyeame.

Asked about his plans for the Dada Hafco brand, he hinted that the now he has evolved into a full HighLife artiste and would be churning out a lot of HighLife songs and would soon release his first album.

Dada Hafco also hinted that he has a new song recorded with Okyeame Kwame which he would be releasing very soon so all his fans should watch out for that song titled ‘Mu Suo’.
