Many were called, thousands turned up but only a few were chosen. That has been the story of the MTN Hitmaker Season 4.
The clarion call for people with swag, flair, confidence and style for stardom was answered by many. Many caught the hitmaker fever, we all felt the buzz on social media from the audition countdowns to the audition updates to the promo for the viewing times, indeed it has been nothing but fun and excitement since the hitmaker call to action was thrown out there.
Since the hitmaker season 4 began showing on TV, our weekends have been spiced up with the thrills of the auditions, we have had wow moments with spectacular voices and had side splitting moments with contestants who simply did not have the hitmaker character. We have watched with interest and probably penned down who we think deserves to make it to the next stage of the competition.
In episode three we saw how 16 contestants were taken to a luxurious location for a series of intensive vocal, performance, communication and choreography lessons. Boot camp is the real deal, it’s where the true hitmaker quality is tested and proven. If you can survive the grueling training at boot camp, then you are fit to contest for the biggest prize in GH reality TV.
The airing of the boot camp episode meant one thing, it meant that it was time to reveal the final 12 contestants who will be battling it out for a chance at winning the GHC 100,000 in cash and prizes. The stage is set, the suspense is building up, social media is buzzing and everyone is asking, “Who is made it out of boot camp?”
That question will be answered on Wednesday 5th August, 6 pm at the National Theater. On that day, the national theater will come alive as the chosen 12 after they have been unveiled would also have their first performance. It is going to be a double dose of everything we have come to know the hitmaker brand for, fun, excitement and quality entertainment.
Do you want to know who did not make the cut? Would you like to know if you tipped the right people to make it through? Do you want to have a night of awesome performances? Then make a date with the hitmaker season four contestants on the 5th of August, 6pm at the National Theater.
