Miss Precious Ghana 2013 launched

In their quest to cater for the needs of the needy and orphans in the society, Royal Diadem International Ghana has launched “Miss Precious Ghana” in collaboration with Ghallywood Academy.

“Miss Precious Ghana” which was launched under the theme, “Building a solid foundation for the needy” is an educative pageant geared towards unearthing of an Ambassador who will spearhead the dreams and aspirations of the organising company by bringing a positive sustainable change in the orphanages across the country and beyond.

Each year, the Ambassador will be assigned to a selected orphanage for life.

As part of the Ambassador’s project, proceeds will be used to build infrastructures such as Libraries, dormitories, computer labs, provide student’s beds, student mattresses in orphanages and also offer sponsorship to 50 orphans or street children who will be interested in the educative courses such as Film Making, Modeling, Fashion Designing and Hair Dressing at Ghallywood Academy yearly.

Audition for the maiden edition is set for September 2013 to pick 15 ladies who will be camped for four weeks and taken through a series of activities that centre on the vision of Royal Diadem.

They will be taken through a special grooming on how to explore their ideas to improve the livelihood of orphans and the needy. The winner and her two runner ups will receive cash and other consolation prizes. There will also be a special award for individual Project, Poise and Attitude and Group Project.

Miss Precious Ghana is set for October 2013.
