Meet Giovanni – the new host of eTV’s The Late Night Celebrity Show

On Monday 6th October, 2014, e.TV Ghana’s ‘Late Night Celebrity Show’ will be back on air with a brand new season and a new host for the show. Caleb Elolo Adjomah also known as Giovanni will be replacing Laila Abubukari with some new exciting elements to the new season of the show.

Giovanni first appeared in the media industry on radio with Radio Univers in 2008 when he was in his second year in the University of Ghana, Legon. He then joined Global Media Alliance to work at YFM as a national service person, and has since risen gradually through the ranks.

He iscurrently not only the programs manager at YFM but can now add TV presenter to his growing credentials.Giovanni has already covered for Laila on a couple of occasions on the ‘Late Night Celebrity Show’ and received a lot of positive feedback.

Viewers who have seen Giovanni on the screen will attest to the fact that he brings a new energy to the role, which contributed to making him an obvious replacement presenter.Giovanni

Speaking in an interview Giovianni said “I am really looking forward to taking up this new challenge and bonding with my guests. I am naturally a chatty person and I believe that I can get them to relax and open up to me” he ended by saying “I want to commend Laila and Dzifa for the amazing job that they have done to date. I have learnt a lot from them and I am excited about having the opportunity to add to what they have left behind.”

The ‘Late Night Celebrity Show’ started in 2010 with Dzifa Affainie (nee Smith).It was then taken over by Laila Abubakariin 2013 who has now gone to further her studies in the UK.

The late Night celebrity show is a flagship entertainment show on e.TV Ghana that brings Ghanaian celebrities to the homes of their fans, giving them the chance to get to know them better and discover what is new in their lives.
