Ghanaians and members of the international community were thrilled by the latest James Bond movie “Spectre” when Global Cinemas premiered the movie Friday.
The latest family and friend’s cinema hangout, situated at the old Weija Barrier, excited movie lovers from all walks of life.
Patrons could not help but express their enthusiasm to the management of Global Cinemas for the decision to provide them the opportunity to engage in activities they love in a serene but fun filled environment.
Nana Esi who was at the movie hall to watch ‘Spectre’ and is a self-confessed fan of Bond movies, said “I had such a great time because I watched my favourite character, Bond, whilst sitting in a plush seat with the chilling air condition munching on my popcorn. There is no better way to de-stress after a hard day at work.”
Kweku Cobbinah, the Business Development Manager for Global Cinemas said at the ‘Spectre’ showing, “We at Global Cinemas are in the business of entertainment and want to ensure that our customers get the best experience as well as providing a great opportunity to de-stress and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We will keep building on our existing services and will not relent on our promise of delivering the best movies and viewing experiences.
Spectre is Daniel Craig’s 4th outing as 007 after Casino Royale in 2006, Quantum of Solace in 2008, and Skyfall in 2012. It is rumoured that this is Craig’s last role in the Bond film series, however the ace actor has not confirmed whether he intends to continue or not.
Other movies showing at the Global Cinemas include Breaking through, Black Mass, 3D version of Pan and The Martian etc.
