Ghana International model, Victoria Michaels graced the maiden edition of the Fashion Icon Awards at the plush La Palm Beach Hotel on Saturday, September 6 2014.
Her outstanding performances on and off the runway; her hard work, her versatility and humanitarian exploits across the continent was recognised on the night.
She picked the Outstanding Achievement Award at the event aimed at celebrating icons behind the promotion of African fashion in Ghana.
Earlier in the year, she picked the Potential Super Model of the Year award at the All Africa Media Networks Awards in Accra, Ghana.
“I must say that I am glad beyond immense measures that the organizers awarded me with this adorable plaque”, she said after receiving the award.
Victoria has earned herself, over the years, international recognition as well as deals as brand Ambassador for international organisations such as for Bel- AQUA, Ariels Spa, Ghana @ 50 Gold Show, the House Model for Artdress by the late Fashion legend Kofi Ansah, BBC African Fashion Week, Dubai Fashion Week, FIMA Fashion Week, Dark & Lovely Hair Fashion Show.
She has also featured on Oh! Yes Magazine, FIMA Magazine, Da Viva, Print ads for Agricultural Development Bank, Woodin, MTN, Cover for Ghana’s 2006 Presidential diary, TV commercials for MTN, Nescafe, Woodin, Social media campaign for Vodafone alongside renowned artistes like; D’Banj and Sarkodie.
