In what many will describe as a bold move following his endorsement of the New Patriotic Party’s Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo, Gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng is set to return to the stage.
The Gospel singer has in recent times generated a lot of controversy after he publicly declared support for the NPP flagbearerer; a move many think should not have been associated with a gospel musician. Cwesi Oteng however is set to assume what he is noted for the best; taking control of the stage and setting the pace for praising God.
The gospel singer will kick start 2017 with a big bang performance at the Festival of Lights event when he joins a host of other singers to usher Ghana into the new year.
Festival of Lights & Music” is an innovation under the Tigo Music and will feature stunning fireworks like those seen around the world in London, Australia and Dubai on New Year’s Eve. Artistes for the night include Shatta Wale, Qwesi Oteng, Obaapa Christie (Christiana Love) and the Patch Bay Band
Festival of Lights & Music takes place at the Nungua Junction Mall, Tema and is open to the public.
