GhanaGist Star Of The Week: Captain Planet (4×4) | The New Entrepreneur In The Fashion Business

Fashion is relative to everyone but most people sometimes look at prominent fashion figures in show business and learn from their taste of wears and fashion styles.

One person in fashion who has a wide admiration from the youth is Jeoffrey Sylvanus Dodji, leader of the trio 4X4 and also known in showbiz as Captain Planet.

Let’s take a recap of the story of the group 4×4. It was formed in the year 2000 by Captain Planet and his partner Edem Avornyo who changed his showbiz name from Abortion to Coded. The 2 always give credits to the duo, Buk Bak (Ronnie Coaches and Bright Sparkles) for raising them with their music skill.

4×4 is one of the few well established groups in Ghana that keep churning hits. Every single they put out on the music market creates a bang on the dance floors and clubs.

In 2007, the group 4×4 rebranded and introduced a new member, Prince Tamakloe (Fresh Prince) in their single HotGirls.com which was off their Contestant NO.1 album.

Captain Planet is the rapper of the group and Coded is always noted for his ragga-dancehall hype feel with Fresh Prince bringing a soul voice on melodious hooks.

They were the first group to introduce Crunk music to the boundaries of Ghana and other musicians adopted it in their album materials with the demand they created with that style of music.

In 2009, they released hits like “World Trade Centre “and “Waist and Power” which also gave them a mount on the charts and earned them lots of performance billing.Captain Planet Opens ‘Fashion Planet’ Boutique GhanaGist (61)

Now let’s bring to light on Fashion Planet, the new most expensive fashion house in Ghana owned by Captain Planet and located opposite the Baatsona Filling Station.

I was privileged to be at the launch with the assistance of my producer and chief editor, Ebenezer Anangfio. Honestly we were amazed by the look and the stock of quality imported designs.

It’s a real expensive fashion investment and considering the man behind it, you should know he wouldn’t go for less but top quality products to satisfy consumers.

Other music artiste and celebrities were there to support the launch of Fashion Planet; Pappy Kojo, DJ Mic Smith, Pop Skinny, Sandra Ankobia, Jay Foley of 4Syte Fame among others were all present.

In an interview with GhanaGist.Com, Captain Planet reveals that fashion defines ones personality.

We are glad to have the fashion personality Captain Planet as our GhanaGist Star of the Week.
