The President of the Ghana Actors’ Guild, Rev Eddie Coffie died on Friday October 30 at the Ridge Hospital.
According to his son, Gilbert Coffie, his father died of high blood pressure.
“He has been sick for a while now. He was recovering but we had to take him to the hospital on Sunday because he kind of passed out. He has never recovered since then till today. I think it was high blood pressure,” he told Hitz FM.
The late actor died at age 56 and left behind three children, Charles Coffie, Gilbert Coffie and a little girl.
