Many media critics shared their opinion when the Nana Aba Anamoah’s supposed picture-theft story went viral on social media. GhanaGist.com wasn’t left out as we kept updating our following and readers with the story.
One other interesting development worth mentioning is the “Nana-Aba-was-there-some” photo-comment which flooded social media.
Several mischievously edited photographs of Nana Aba posing alongside Jesus Christ and Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, just to mention a few popped up on social media, making mockery of the celebrated hostess.
TV3 Network, a television brand aligned to Nana Aba also took a turn and had to suspend the hardworking Television anchor and staff off air. But many disapprove of their action for what may be described as a rather harsh decision on its committed staff.
GhanaGist.com in a study to this news story has uncovered that 5 more working staff of TV3 have resigned their positions and working duties after the Nana Aba gist in 3 weeks.
As unprecedented as it may appear, Nakwor Kwabla, a senior reporter and producer of TV3 Networks has entered her resignation and out of the TV3 family.
Aside scripting good news content and producing other exciting and educative documentaries for the station, Nakwor also doubled as the producer and host of NoteBook; a program which airs on midday every Sunday.
Next is the Etv Ghana migrated female sports reporter, presenter and analyst, Juliet Bawuah who also resigned in October off the TV3 Networks.
Juliet is the only female sports presenter on TV3 News and New Day Morning Show. Her style of sports presentation is one that has been admired by most sports viewers of TV3. She is also a producer who brings to bear hard-to-get exclusive interviews and up-close chats with high profile sports personalities both local and international.
Michael Ofori Boamah, who is a key team player at the Sports department has also taken his leave and joined the resigned staff roll. Michael was the producer of award winning sports show- Sports Station, Ghana’s Strongest and has been the man behind the success of Divas Show hosted by Nana Aba Anamoah playing roles of a producer and director.
Next is the entertainment prefect at the TV3 Newsroom and Entertainment Satirist, Owusu-Worae.
He is noted for doing funny stories either around political figures or getting hard-to-find Entertainment exclusives to spice up TV3 News.
He is the creative writer, content developer and head of Entertainment who is always noted for always producing funny and creative hit stories.
Viewers always looked out for his unpredictable Entertainment stories which always put smiles on the faces.
The last to join the list of 5 is Sandra Amartey, the Energy reporter. In an era of Dumsor and serious National energy crisis, Sandra always got TV3 all the exclusive interviews and information to the Energy crisis. She developed a rich contact with energy expects and her exit came as a big surprise.
The exit of 5 active and hardworking personalities within a space of 3 weeks is indeed a big blow to Tv3 Network.
The question as to why the mass movement is yet to be figured out by Ghanagist.com.
