Tune in this Saturday as DStv brings audiences across Africa coverage of the prestigious CNN MultiChoice African Journalism Awards 2013, which saw Kenya awarded in one category – Television General News.
The Awards, that were recently hosted in Cape Town, South Africa will premiere in an exciting one hour show on AfricaMagic, DStv channel 155 on Saturday 19 October at 18:30 CAT.
The winning Ghanaian submission, chosen from among 1387 entries from 42 nations across the African continent, is follows:

Meanwhile this year’s awards saw Msindisi Fengu and Yandisa Monakali, from South Africa being awarded the top prize, with them both sharing the overall ‘CNN MultiChoice African Journalist of the Year’ Award for their work ‘Investigation series: School hostels of Shame’.

The Awards will also be rescreened on Sunday 20 October at 11:00 CAT and Wednesday 23 October at 15:00 CAT.
Additionally, AfricaMagic World will also screen a half hour show of the Awards, on Monday 21 October at 19:30 CAT and Tuesday 22 October 16:00 CAT.
