DStv CONFIRMS EXCITING OPEN WEEKEND!
Africa’s leading pay TV brand has confirmed plans for an entertaining OPEN WEEKEND, during which time DStv Access, Family, Compact and Compact Plus subscribers will be able to view selected DStv Premium channels, at no extra cost.
Running from Friday July 19 at 16:00 CAT until Monday July 22 at 10:00 CAT, the DStv OPEN WEEKEND is the latest development in the DStv Rewards campaign, which aims to reward subscribers for their loyalty in different ways. Earlier this year, thanks to DStv Rewards, lucky subscribers from different parts of the continent walked away with wonderful cash prizes.

Mrs Obama will deliver remarks and participate in a discussion with youth at an event being organized in conjunction with African youth and music channel MTV Base and Google+.

Last Resort (New series): This new military-themed drama series tracks the crew of a fictional US Navy submarine that is given an order to launch nuclear ballistic missiles at Pakistan while stationed in the waters off that country’s coast. However, the sub’s commanding officer, Captain Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher – Glory, Homicide: Life on the Street), refuses to obey this curious command, making his vessel a target and he and his men de facto enemies of their own country. Armed with a payload of nukes, they must find a way to prove their innocence and find out who in the US government has set them up. Expect political drama and maritime action aplenty!
