World Stage Drake: You’ve heard the hooks, you’ve seen the videos, now see it live on stage.  MTV Base brings DStv viweres the talented and hook genius, Drake, on the World Stage. Performing live from the Wireless Festival 2012 in the UK, the recent Grammy Award winner sings some of his biggest tracks from his Take Care album on Sunday 21 April at 21.30 CAT.

Prisoners’ Wives II:  It centers on very different women struggling to cope with husbands, sons and lovers who are serving hard time in jail. These are desperate housewives of completely different variety, ranging from the glamorous wife of a criminal to a young drug-dealing mother. This compelling show reminds us that behind every male prisoner, there’s a wife, girlfriend or mother “doing time” on the outside. Watch Prisoners’ Wives II on Tuesday 23 April at 20:00 CAT.

Hannibal: Hannibal stars Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, a brilliant FBI profiler who is able to mentally re-trace the twisted thoughts and methods of the agency’s most-wanted serial killers.  As a result, Will finds himself assigned to the care of the highly-respected psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Unknown to Will, there is a reason Dr. Lecter has particular insight into these horrible crimes and the psychopaths who commit them. Watch Hannibal on Tuesday 23 April at 20:55 CAT. 

BBC Entertainment (DStv Compact, Compact Plus & Premium,Ch 120)

The Indian Doctor: it is a period comedy drama set in 1963 starring Sanjeev Bhaskar as high-flying Delhi graduate Doctor Prem Sharma, who finds work in a South Wales mining village. The plot revolves around mine manager Richard Sharpe who has deliberately ignored safety regulations for maximum productivity so that he can further his career. The previous doctor on the mine was aware of Sharpe’s wrongdoings and now the new doctor is determined to reveal Sharpe’s dark secret. Don’t miss the Indian Doctor on 20 April at 12:00 CAT. 

Disney Channel (DStv Compact, Compact Plus & Premium, Ch 303)

High School Musical: High School Musical was a worldwide phenomenon and the sequel was also a massive hit. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, who are now seniors and face the prospect of leaving East High and even worse, being separated from one another and their friends as they head off in different directions for college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future. High School premieres on Friday 19 April at 17:00 CAT.
