Founded in 2012 in a small 20 x 20 ft room in the north kaneshie neighborhood of Accra, Black Avenue Muzik has gradually grown and spawned some of Ghana’s biggest talents continentally even with its humble beginnings.
Founded by multiple award winning Ghanaian hiphop / Afrobeats Artist D-Black, under the Black Avenue Muzik umbrella in his first 5 years of being an entertainer racked up over 50 award nominations worldwide including being the first Ghanaian hiphop act to be nominated at the Bet Awards in the category of Best African Act (2012) and the only Ghanaian rapper to have won at the prestigious Channel o Awards in South Africa for Best West African Act.
