Creativity exploded at Citi FM’s ‘Expressions of Accra’

Guests who thronged the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel for the 2013 edition of Citi FM’s ‘Expressions of Accra’ walked away with fashion impressions that will last them a life time.

The event dubbed “Creative Explosion” highlighted explosive creativity, originality, and imagination from the young designers carefully selected to showcase their designs.

They included; AfroMod Trends, Elikem Kumordzie the Tailor, Ameyo, Maksi Clothing, SA4A Designs, Horseman Shoes and a guest designer from Zimbabwe, Pokello Nare. 

The patrons were also treated to some good live band music from K.K Fosu and the Patch Bay Band and a performance by Keche, 
poetry by Nana Assase as well as rib cracking comedy from Nigeria’s funny man, Bash.

KK Fosu’s outstanding performance drew to the dancing floor, Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.

The models on the runway captivated the audience as they adorned themselves with the beautifully designed clothes and other fashion accessories.

‘Expressions of Accra’ which is in its second year, is a fashion show which seeks to capture the trends and exciting stories of Accra’s urban fashion.

This year’s event was sponsored by GTP, HFC bank, Airtel and Sleek cosmetics.

For just GHC50, the patrons certainly had their money’s worth.
