Bola Ray’s Parents Wanted Him To Do A White Colour Job After Reading Finance At The University

Former radio presenter Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray has disclosed that, his parents didn’t like the idea of him becoming a radio presenter.

The CEO of EIB Network said he read Finance and Accounting at the University, so his parents wanted him to go for a white colour job but he insisted on doing radio because of his passion for the job.

“My parents were against my decision of doing radio…I read finance and accounting in school and so they thought I should join the white color profession and make some good money from the corporate world,” he said. “I was not so much concerned with the idea of money because I had bigger ambitions than immediate financial gains.”

“I had our eyes on the big prize. That’s why I want to tell the youth that there are no shortcuts to success. There are no short routes to riches. I believe you have to pay your dues. You need to be focused, ambitious, and brilliant at what you do and it will come,” he stated.

Kwabena Adisi was speaking on Abusua FM’s midmorning program, Abusua Mmre jointly hosted by Mr. Katah and Nana Hemaa.
