The Black Stars will begin their training tour of Spain today after arriving in Seville this morning

Coach Avram Grant and his team have arrived in Seville, Spain this morning to continue with preparations for the 2015 Afcon in Equatorial Guinea.

The team left Accra last night after several days of non-residential camping. The coach whittled down his provisional list to 26 from 31 before the trip.

He is expected to drop three more by Wednesday before the final 23-man list is submitted to Caf.

Grant, the former Chelsea manager, admitted that dropping the six players was tough.

Some of the players will join the team straight from their European bases. Andre Ayew, Christian Atsu and Spain-based, Razak Brimah are the notable ones.

The Black Stars will leave for Equatorial Guinea on January 14, three days before the tournament begins.

Ghana are chasing their first Afcon title since 1982.
