Former Head of Own Production at Viasat1 Ghana and award winning TV Executive and Woman2.1 Summit Ambassador; Benny Bonsu has launched BAMEInspired Consult Agency in Accra Monday 12th August 2013 ahead of her trip back to the UK to work on a new show that is being shot across Africa.
The Associate Producer at London2012 has launched BAMEInspired consultancy that was set up in 2012 to work with companies across Africa and Europe to provide expertise in brand management, public relations, marketing and promotions and work with companies to promote and enable equality & diversity across all business fields through their BAMEInspired Awards which will be held annually.
The Awards is dedicated to recognising some of the most outstanding people and organisations throughout Africa, who have contributed to breaking down ethnic, cultural, political and economic barriers in order to create a truly inclusive culture where diversity is valued and celebrated and where everyone feels welcomed and respected.
The awards recognise the efforts and hard work of companies through a series of awards selected and judged by a panel of diversity & inclusion experts and professionals.
Ahead of the launch in Accra, former Executive Director of Tottenham Football Club Charlie Wijeratna said “The ﬁrst awards was a great success with companies such as London 2012 Olympics, Metropolitan Police, Aramark, Metro line Travel, Sword, G4S, Amadeus, The Voice newspaper, and the Marriot Hotel in attendance.
It was a fantastic eventthat really celebrated talent from diverse backgrounds and showcased the great work these organisations do to encourage diversity and inclusion. Fantastic work by Benny and her team and it will be great to see this come to light in Africa”
