Organisers of the annual Bass Awards which seeks to reward African Reggae & Dancehall music has named members of the Awards committee.
The 2014 Committee features some old faces from last year and some new ones. The committee’s scope of work will include oversight responsibility of the biggest Reggae and Dancehall Awards in Africa. They will be responsible for the call of entries, collation of submitted materials/works within the stated year, sorting it out, pruning down the numbers, properly placing them in the categories they fit and finally coming out with the nominees list for this year’s event.

The committee sees a new entrant Makeba Boateng an Event & PR Specialist and Reggae/Dancehall activist.
For the second time running, The BASS Awards committee will be headed by music administrator, Journalist & broadcaster Ahuma Ocansey also reffered to as Daddy Bosco who chaired the committee last year.
