His Scintillating form has earned him 17 goals and 11 assists in 34 league matches to take his club to the point of the title with three games left to be played.
He picked the award ahead of his fellow Leicester City teammates Jamie Vardy and N’Golo Kante, Tottenham forward Harry Kane, Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil and West Ham United midfielder Dimitri Payet.
