AFCON 2015: Ghana’s starting line up against Equatorial Guinea; Jordan Ayew to partner Kwesi Appiah in attack

Jordan Ayew starts in attack with Kwesi Appiah for Ghana’s semi-finals match against Equatorial Guinea.

Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is out of coach Avram Grant’s team after he suffered an abdominal injury after Guinean goalie Naby Yattara stamped him in the dying minutes of Quarterfinals match between the two countries on Sunday.

Coach Avram Grant has maintained his defensive quartet made up of Harrison Afful and Baba Rahman as fullback with John Boye and Jonathan Mensah in the central positions.

Andre Ayew and Christian Atsu will start on the flanks for Ghana with Mubarak Wakaso and Afriyie Acquah once again playing in central midfield.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 7pm.
