Former TV3 news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah would be seen on EIB Networks’ newly acquired GHOne TV when the station starts introducing their new programmes.
She resigned from the Kanda based station on November 2 when the station took her off air and suspended her following an alleged involvement in an online information and photo theft.
In her resignation letter, she said, “I, find the decision by the management and board of TV3 to suspend me rather disappointing and a sign of ingratitude from an organisation that I have committed twelve years of my adult life to.”
Few weeks after her resignation, her former colleagues on New Day, Ama K. Abebrese and Benny Blanco have spoken about the issue on Starr FM Morning Show hosted by Nii Arday Clegg.
“A lot of it I found very surprising. But then it just kept escalating and escalating. Sometimes the worst situations in life make you grow stronger. She brushed it off her shoulder and rose above and she is just going to keep rising and rising,” she said on the show.
On his part, Benny Blanco who also resigned last week from the station described the station’s decision as ruthlessly.
“I personally think the public ridicule was just too much. Everybody called for her head and they decided to deliver.”
