2Face Idibia wins Best African Act at BASS Awards in Ghana + Full list of winners

Nigerian musician 2Face Idibia has been adjudged as the ‘Best African Act’ at the just ended maiden edition of first ever Reggae and Dancehall awards in Ghana, BASS Awards held at the National Theatre on Saturday July 6.

2Face beat his compatriots General Pipe (Champion), Davido (All Of You), Ice Prince (Magician) and Wizkid (Wadup) with the song ‘Rain Drops’. The other two in the category were Kenyan’s Wyre and Buffalo from South Africa.

Also African Dancehall specialist and Ghana’s Samini picked 3 awards on the night. He won Artist of the Year, Dancehall Artist of the Year and Performer of the year. His partnership with Stonebwoy on ‘Climax’ picked the Collaboration/Dancehall Song of the Year.
