2017 MTV Europe Music Awards Live On DStv On Sunday

The annual MTV EMA will take over London’s epic SSE Arena, Wembley this Sunday live on DStv for an evening of awards and world-class performances from some of the biggest music acts on the planet. Music lovers in Ghana can follow along in the EMA festivities live on DStv to Sunday on the MTV channel 130 from 6pm.  The awards the biggest in Europe will see performance from French Montana, Travis Scott amongst others.

“Entertainment is a powerful way to tell stories that open our minds, bring people together around shared passions, and connect us to new realities” said Cecil Sunkwa Mills, General Manager, MultiChoice Ghana. “As a video entertainment company, and our role is to enrich lives and EMA fans in Ghana can join the excitement.

MTV will air a series of live shows starting at 6pm from various locations across London in the run up to the awards this Sunday November 12th” said Nii Amah Dagadu, Communications Manager, MultiChoice Ghana.  He added that, fans can join Jonas Blue and his team live from the London Eye at 6pm, for a thirty-minute special on the EMA’s history, including the Best Hosts, Best Lit Performances, biggest winners amongst others.

This will be followed by another special with Becca Dudley, as she explores why London makes such a cool city for this year’s EMAs with a bus tour around London from 6:35pm. EMA festivities with Rita Ora airs live on DStv at 7pm on the MTV (Channel 130) from London’s SSE Arena on Nov. 12.

The GRAMMY winner Taylor Swift has the highest nominations of the night with six EMA nods, including for Best Artist, Best Look, Best Pop, and Best Video for “Look What You Made Me Do.” She’s also up for Biggest Fans, thanks to her dedicated Swifties.
