Hiplife artiste Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known in showbiz as A-Plus has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will resist rigging of the December 7 general election.
Speaking at the launch of “Operation 70% Agenda” by the New Juaben South constituency wing of the NPP in the Eastern region on Sunday, the known sympathizer of the main opposition party explained that Ghana needs a visionary leader such as Nana Akufo-Addo to improve the living standards of Ghanaians hence a clamour for change.
A-Plus intimated that any attempt to circumvent the will of the people in this year’s election must be resisted by the supporters of the NPP.
A-Plus also called on Ghaianains to disregard the Skeptic claims over the feasibility of Nana Akuffo Addo policies. According to him the policies are feasible.
“The NPP says it will construct a dam in every village in the North but the NDC says it is not possible but they have money to buy V8. The cost of a V8 can construct four dams. The gold watch for Bank of Ghana staff which cost $72,000 each can build five dams,” A-Plus told party faithful who gathered at the Koforidua Zongo market square.
National Youth Organizer of the NPP, Sammy Awuku also accused the NDC government of neglecting the youth. He said youth unemployment has soared under the NDC administration and therefore called on the youth in particular, Zongo youth to vote against the government.
