This is another endorsement for the opposition’s New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Growing Ghanaian actress Bibi Bright is endorsing the candidature of the NPP and its flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo for the December polls.
According to the actress, the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has failed Ghana and believes Nana Addo is the right person to change Ghana from the bad state it is in now to a better one.
She is therefore asking Ghanaians to vote for the NPP and Akufo-Addo in the upcoming polls. Read what she told Graphic Showbiz in an interview.
“I don’t really care whatever Ghanaians will say about me but the truth is I am suffering and anyone who will disagree with me is probably very okay and can afford to pay his rent, light bills and cater for their children.”

“President Mahama is the one who has led Ghanaians to where we are now and it is time for change since he and his NDC have failed us. I know Nana Addo can do the magic to turn things round.”
NDC doesn’t understand the arts
“In countries like USA, India and Nigeria the government understands the importance of the arts and creative industry and invests in it because it can yield very good returns but it seems our industry is the least of the government’s worries.
“The NDC government does not understand the arts and creative industry but Nana Addo does and that is why I am for him” she added.
If Nana Akufo-Addo doesn’t win
“I will be very disappointed if Nana Addo does not win this year’s election because I know Ghanaians are suffering like I am here. School feeding programme, NHIS as well as other social interventions are not working because of NDC and it is time for change.”
“There is no way a Nigerian TV station will show a telenovela and even go ahead and do voice overs and discussions on it. It is not right.”
